There are many buddha display set on many places such as government office,university,school,department store. That is it because this time is AsalhaPuja and Buddist Lent Festival.One activity in this festival is offering candle to temple (in past monk use candle to study dharma)

International Wax Sculpture in Ubon Ratchathani Province (northeast of Thailand) is the most famous place for this festival.
